As Director of Product Marketing, you are fully accountable for the success of 360Learning’s global go-to-market. You, and the product marketing team you coach, drive our go-to-market success across product, marketing, sales, and customer success.
As part of the marketing team, you will report directly to our VP, Marketing. You will work closely with our CEO and leadership team across product, sales, customer success, and operations. You will coach a creative and talented team of product marketers while continuing to scale the function.
360Learning’s product marketing team has been a key driver of 360Learning’s growth–successfully launching a Suite of solutions, defining our US GTM strategy, crafting our positioning, and more. Following our
$200M fundraising round last year, we’re betting big on product marketing: increasing the function’s scope and doubling the team size.
Within 1 month, you will:
- Develop an understanding of our market, target customer, and top competitors
- Get to know our product marketing team, metrics, and priorities
- Learn our tool stack (Trello, Salesforce, Looker, Gong, Amplitude, Crayon, Seismic)Set your quarterly OKRs with your coach
Within 3 months, you will:
- Take over coaching of the product marketing team
- Analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve and expand our product marketing playbook
- Support the growth of a new customer marketing function
Within 6 months, you will:
- Grow our analyst relations (AR) program as an input into our product and marketing strategy
- Collaborate with our product leadership to refine our product GTM strategy based on market insights
- Support the development of emerging leaders in the PMM team
Within 12 months, you will:
- Define the product marketing roadmap for 2023 and beyond
- Launch hiring for additional specialization within the team (i.e. market research, AR, competitive intel)
The Skills Set
- 5+ years of product marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company
- 2+ years of experience managing a team
- You learn new technologies, industries, and personas quickly
- You are well-versed in the SaaS product marketing playbook.
- You’re certified by The Pragmatic Institute, but you have the startup mindset of the Product Marketing Alliance
- You can set a vision and strategy that’s rooted in customer problems
- You are a strong communicator.
- You can communicate complex technologies, problems, and strategies simply to anyone
- You are data-driven but know that qualitative observations bring invaluable texture–you take the time and effort to ensure you’ve captured the whole story
- You are meticulous when it comes to details but never lose sight of the big picture
- You thrive in ambiguity.
- You have numerous examples of taking complex requirements and opposing viewpoints to deliver high-impact projects
