The Product Management team drives Asana’s product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for team productivity and collaboration. We’re helping to define the Work Management category and inventing new ways for teams to work more efficiently together and see the larger purpose behind their work.

This is a product leadership role for our Admin group, who lead our strategy to serve IT and administrators at our largest and most complex global customers. From governance to compliance to tools for managing Asana at massive scale, this group sits at the center of our Enterprise strategy and their work contributes directly to some of our most important company goals.

This role is based in our Vancouver office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Define and execute the vision and strategy for the IT and functional administrators managing Asana at our largest and most complex global enterprise customers, including identity, data management, compliance, and governance in a market quickly changing with GenAI.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and customer-facing teams to solve our customers’ most critical administrative challenges.
  • Directly work with our largest Enterprise customers, building deep partnerships, co-creating strategy, and working through complex problems.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of customer centricity, clarity, and innovation.

About you:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years leading and managing PMs.
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS products, particularly for IT and administrative users at large global organizations.
  • Deep familiarity with challenges related to identity, compliance, governance, and enterprise-scale administration.
  • Highly customer-centric, with strong instincts for balancing user needs with business objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executives alike.

At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

What we’ll offer

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $246,000 CAD - $334,000 CAD.
