We’re looking for a Director of Product Manager to lead and own the vision and definition of our computer vision products for identity, safety, and security.

You’ll work with customers, executives, and technical and marketing leadership, leading the Product Management team to build a long-term strategy and roadmap and successfully launch world-class products through deep collaboration across the organization.

This is a highly visible role and a great opportunity to influence strategic product and business direction. Paravision develops highly technical products, so a passion for working with technical teams and a deep understanding of software engineering, systems engineering, and computer vision is critical.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead a product management culture focused on technical excellence, usability, ethical development, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and own systems for defining market and product requirements, tracking technology trends, and maintaining comprehensive competitive analysis.
  • Champion a long-term product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company’s business and technology strategy.
  • Manage the product life cycle from planning to launch to obsolescence.
  • Develop and own systems for product pricing including Price Book.
  • Work directly with engineering, sales, and marketing to build exceptional products.
  • Build scalable processes and systems for outstanding customer-facing documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, providing subject matter expertise and customer support.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of technical product management experience working through the full product development lifecycle.
  • Experience building enterprise, B2B software, from Cloud to Edge.
  • Strong development background, preferably as a software engineer or comparable technical role.
  • Proven track record of delivering results within a cross-functional team – articulating tradeoffs, mediating opposing viewpoints, and negotiating solutions.
  • Strong understanding of design and UI/UX and a deep desire to make highly technical products easy to understand, integrate, and use.
  • Exceptional communication (written & oral) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Passion for Machine Learning, AI, computer vision, and imaging technologies.
  • Inherent understanding of the need to act as a Product Manager, not just a Director of Product Management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with computer vision
  • Experience with biometrics and identity systems

Location:

  • US or Canada
  • San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Washington DC, Vancouver, or Toronto preferred
