Digital Product Designer job at Legacy

TL;DR:

What do we do?

We are building a complete digital health hub for future parents. We aim to change the outdated view that fertility is a "women's issue" by creating an accessible, affordable product for men. This includes everything from a mail-in kit for sperm testing & sperm freezing, personalized sperm improvement products, tele-health, DNA fragmentation analysis, supplements, and more.

Job Description:

Reporting to the VP of Growth, the Digital Product Designer will be responsible for the design of Legacy’s digital products, including the Client Dashboard, Internal Dashboard and other digital assets. The DPD will work closely with Product Managers to create the user journey by listening to client feedback, reading product specs, designing low fidelity mockups and working with engineering to create clear design specifications. Additionally, the DPD will be charged with creating and maintaining the Legacy design system in coordination with the design team. This role will work closely with engineering to drive the user interaction process and should be comfortable working with and communicating to engineers on a daily basis. This position is the first UI hire at Legacy and will have a direct impact on a design system that will be used for years to come.

Responsibilities:

·Work with product to create low fidelity mockups and turning those into high fidelity designs

·Work with engineering to execute designs and iterations

·Own the UI process from iteration to execution and launch

·Working with the design team, create a Legacy design system for best practices

·Be a UI evangelist by gaining buy in from stakeholders

Qualifications:

·5-7 years’ experience working in UI/UX, additional experience with Front End Development valued

·Experience managing the entire UI cycle from inception to launch

·Extraordinary attention to detail

·Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to all levels of an organization

·Experience working within a high growth startup required, preference for designers who have helped scale a company from Series A to Series C

·Ability to work within an ambiguous, ever changing work environment

·Ability to execute while driving a team of different stakeholders
