Role Overview
As a Design System Designer, you'll research and improve user experience, identify growth opportunities, and promote the design system. You'll also build a collaborative community among users and stakeholders, shaping the system's evolution and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain the Xsolla Design System, ensuring it's up-to-date, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback from teams to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the Design System meets their needs.
- Establish and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standardized processes for consistency.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive library of UI components, patterns, and templates.
- Actively promote the Design System to stakeholders and foster a sense of ownership and pride.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events to share knowledge and best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into the Design System.
- Continuously iterate on the Design System based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with the documentation team to create clear and engaging tutorials.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of UI/UX design experience, including UI kit or Design System development.
- Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and guidelines.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, best practices, and trends, and the ability to apply them to real-world projects.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills for articulating design concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- A growth mindset and proactive approach to learning new skills.
- Ability to work independently and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
