Twilio is seeking a Design Program Manager to lead operations for the design team while managing high-complexity programs through the design lifecycle. As part of Twilio’s Global UX organization, you combine expert project management skills with a love for user experience, fostering cross-functional collaboration among product, design and engineering teams. In this position you will run strategic and tactical initiatives – evolving working models and processes, while also driving programs that support the design organization at scale. You’re a strategic thought partner who is excited about driving to impact, clarity, and alignment. You’ll be part of a growing UX organization,  supporting our mission of building a world class customer experience for our customers. 

Who?

Twilio is looking for a Product Design Manager who:

  • Has 5+ years of experience with production/project management/program management within Design
  • Has proven track record of delivery and execution of large scale programs
  • Has ability to bring order to complex programs and is able to prioritize projects, identify risks and dependencies and define schedules
  • Has strategic thinking, with an eye for detail, organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Can work closely with our design team to support our mission of building a world class customer experience for our customers
  • Is excited about driving to impact, clarity, and alignment by providing strategic thought leadership.
  • Has exceptional verbal and written communication and project management skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at a leadership level
  • Proven ability to identify key program measurements and structure/manage a program to ensure achievement of established goals

As our Product Design Manager, you will live the Twilio Magic values:

  • Ruthlessly Prioritize:  Responsible for key design meetings to facilitate the development of our design strategy and mission, ensuring we are aligning productively and intentionally
  • Be an Owner: Co-develop and maintain an operating model, including BPMs (Big Picture, Priorities, Measures), and help align our tracking and analytics cadence to support movement towards those goals.
  • Write It Down: Collaborate on content development across the board — driving clarity and consistency for everything from JDs, interview kits, meeting docs, notes, and presentations.
  • Draw The Owl: Determine inspection mechanisms for health of projects and organization, and drive continuous improvement of organizational gaps and inefficiencies
  • Empower Others: Create and maintain cross-team relationships to drive visibility and alignment, coordinating communication cadence and channels for leadership team into the organization and to stakeholders.

This position will be completely remote, but you have the option to work from our Atlanta or Denver offices.
