Design Program Manager

About The Role:

The Level design team is looking for an experienced Design Program Manager to help us ship great work at scale. We are a hybrid team of brand and product designers passionate about changing how we pay for things. We value craft and collaboration and are looking for a humble operational maestro to help keep us calm, cool, and collected.

Role:

As our design program manager, your job will coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be working cross-functionally between design, product, and marketing groups. You will be the go-to person for everything involving the Level design team.

Requirements:

You should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis. We are looking for someone who is passionate about shipping great design. In addition, be an excellent collaborator, communicator, and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You need to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and bring solutions to the table whenever possible. We are looking for team players.

• Knows how and loves to ship great design at scale
• Comfortable with running product and brand programs
• 4-6 years of experience
• Needs solid understanding of working with product, marketing, and engineering organizations
• Experience creating lean and scalable workflows and implementing process improvements
• Clear and effective written, verbal, and visual communication skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Self-aware and possess a strong EQ

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to executive management as needed
• Manage/develop the relationship with the partners and all stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
