Design Program Manager (Contract)

What You’ll Do

• As a Design Program Manager at Reddit, You will be responsible for driving operational excellence for the Design Foundation Team. 
• Task includes establishing processes, systems, project cadence, and tooling solutions to raise the bar of design quality/efficiency and operationalize our team which is responsible for our Reddit Product Language (RPL).
• Work with product managers and engineers to define design work requirements, define size and level of complexity, and estimate and align on schedule and implementation plan. 
• Collaborate with the design foundation team and product management to schedule, monitor status and project completion, and clarify the design sign-off process and engineering sign-off guidelines. 
• Support designers and help manage their workload, unblock them. Ensure that designers are able to move forward with the information they need to complete their work.
• Implement project tracking resource allocation frameworks and become the source of truth for our team.

Who You Might Be:

• 3+ years of work experience in UX design program management. 
• Highly skilled in organization, planning, and process development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude, collaboration, and ability to work with many different types of people
• Ability to thrive in a fast work environment
• Self-starter, Self-driven, and able to thrive in a remote work environment
