Design Ops for Sora Union

We’re currently looking for an Internal Design Ops,  who will be at the heart of our design process and operations, ensuring that our creative teams work efficiently and effectively. This role demands a combination of process management, resource allocation, and a passion for creative excellence.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Enhance and streamline our design processes and workflows.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
• Lead and mentor our design team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
• Develop KPIs to measure and improve the performance and impact of our design team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work closely with Designers to align design strategies with broader business and project goals.
• Facilitate collaboration between designers and other departments, such as engineering, people team, and business operations.
• Calibrate internal and client feedback to conduct evaluations and deliver feedbacks.
• Facilitate training and development within the design team.

IDEALLY, YOU’LL HAVE:

• +7 years of experience in design operations or related management roles.
• Proven track record of managing design processes and teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with strong skills.
• Proficiency in design tools and software.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
• A minimum of B2 English language proficiency.

The Design Ops role is a full-time, 6 month contract position initially reporting to Design Manager, with a direct working relationship within a design pod. This role is a distributed position, and can be based in any location.
