Reporting to our Head of Product Design, you will be a key player of our growing design team, working closely with all the Product Designers, UX researchers, Visual Designers, Product Managers and Product Ops, to ensure a clear understanding and definition of our practices and methodologies. Your work will directly impact our design system as you’ll play a leading role in its evolution. You’ll play a key part in topics such as: creating efficient workflows, or improving the quality and impact of design outputs.

Responsibilities

People & Collaboration: responsible for how we work together (with Product Ops, Marketing, and the rest of the design teams). You understand and define the best practices to create seamless communication bridges between the Design team and the other teams from Scaleway
Knowledge & Definition: Define how we get our work done. Processes and workflows are key. You’ll own their definition. Making sure they are discoverable, aligned with the Product Design team and the other stakeholders, especially the developers, and the Documentation team.
Quality & Impact: You know that a design is good only if it works! You’ll be in charge of defining the right metrics to measure the impact of the Design team and production, internally and externally.
Culture & Advocacy: Our team needs a voice to get stronger. In collaboration with the head of Product Design, you’ll reinforce and evangelize the Design team’s practices and strategy by sharing success stories and ensuring Scaleway’s design resonates both internally and within the design community.
Design system: You’ll lead the design system process and mechanism. You’ll be responsible for the evolution and the quality of our design system, a core piece of our design organization. You will be defining processes and ensuring alignment with Frontend developers and other designers, contributing and crafting tokens, patterns, etc with designers.

Minimum qualifications

5+ years experience in a similar product design position
Tool design & delivery hold no secret for you
You are passionate about product design & design systems
Design thinking inspires your work
Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, internally and externally
Very good command of English
Lean methodologies adapted to an agile environment
You are a team player and you want to play a role in making the team grow
Figma… well… you know… !

Experience working on B2B solutions
Experience working in tech companies

- Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible
