We’re looking for someone who is passionate about processes, loves bringing order, who is flexible and who wants to help build and shape a world-class design team. We need a partner who is not afraid to take ownership for projects and is focused on outcomes, not outputs. Your role will be to support Product and Content Designers in their daily work to ensure our team has well-run programs and processes that improve quality of design output and amplify design’s value.

Requirements

What will you be doing with us?

• Improve the efficiency of the Design Operations area by coming up with new relevant ideas.
• Experiment with new tools, processes and techniques so that the team can do their work in the easiest way.
• Understand the objectives of your peers and managers to ensure that the improvements you suggest are aligned with the broader vision of the Design team.
• Gather the needs from Legal, Security and Finance teams to suggest tools and processes that will help you and the whole Design team focus on day-to-day tasks.
• Manage the knowledge base about design-related processes and keep it up to date.
  

Some projects you would be working on:

• Improve our hiring and onboarding processes for new designers.
• Define how we structure documentation and build a design-related knowledge base.
• Define structure of weekly and quarterly rituals focused on team-building, knowledge sharing and alignment.
• Monitor budgeting of design-related expenses.
• Build the awareness of Docplanner Design work in the outside world.
  
  

What skills and experience will make you thrive here?

• You have 2 or more years of experience in a similar role managing projects, operational programs and processes for design.
• You have 2 or more years of experience as a Designer.
• You have the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders such as Legal, Security and Finance, as well as Recruiting and Hiring Managers.
• Have experience growing a knowledge management database.
• Project management skills.
• You have excellent interpersonal, organisation and communication skills.
• You speak English fluently.

Remote.com works with local benefits providers to build our packages, but you can expect the same salary range and majority of benefits that we have in Spain, Poland, and Italy, plus a budget for travel and integration.
