The Program Manager is responsible for accelerating our Design Systems program and our growing Design Operations program. You will evolve these key programs and enable the team to scale with strength and deliver exemplary product experiences in a creative, focused environment.
This role is responsible for proactively Identifying design system needs and developing programs that educate and support Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers on how to use a Design System through strategy, process, tools, documentation and asset management.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Design Operations and customer-facing teams to understand needs, build a roadmap for releasing, utilizing, and evolving our Design System program.
Develop programs that educate and assist Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers on how to use a Design System and evangelize the program.
Communicate to all parts of the business on project progress, tracking metrics, and recommendations for future improvements.
Collaborate with the Design Operations team to ensure Design Systems strategy integrates with broader Design and Design Operations goals.

5+ years relevant professional experience, including: design operations, design people operations, project/program management of design deliverables
Experience supporting high-performing, collaborative design teams (bonus points if it’s a design system team).
Deep understanding of fundamentals of the design development processes; knowledge of designers’ day to day, and design system life cycle
Excellent systems thinker
Affinity for Design and building Design Communities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness and openness to collaborate, approach problems with curiosity, and excitement to learn and grow your skills
BA/BS degree or higher

We are looking for an experienced Design Operations Program Manager who will evolve Dropbox Design organization’s community, collaboration, and infrastructure of our work. As part of a product-driven and design-led company, Dropbox’s Design, Strategy, and Operations (DSO) team is a collaborative group from many different backgrounds who love combining research, data insights, and peer feedback into a user-centered design process.
This role reports into our Head of Design Operations, and works in partnership with our Design Leadership, Designers, User Experience Research Operations, and People Operations teams. We’re looking for team members who are kind, collaborative, have a bias to action, and excel at developing creative solutions that will ensure a best-in-class Design organization inside and outside of Dropbox.
