We are looking for a design operations assistant to help our marketing design team with regular tasks.
This person will work closely with our marketing and communication designers to ensure that marketing design tasks are clear, structured and delivered on time.
This role is dynamic and requires the candidate to be flexible, open-minded and output-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
What you’ll do:
- Be the contact person for operational matters of regarding marketing and communication design
- Support communication between internal customers, designers and external design agencies
- Ask input from internal customers and help marketing and communication designers create actionable design briefs
- Create Jira tickets and follow up on their progress by making sure they are up to date and forwarding questions or obstacles to stakeholders
- Help maintaining a consistent design toolset
- Facilitate the discovery, evaluation, onboarding and off-boarding of tools: monitor their usage, deal, billing and access and ensure they meet IT security requirements
- Assist in training management for designers
- Maintain and update the international state of DesOps, including design policies and agreements
You’ll be likely to succeed if you have:
- At least one year of experience in project management, preferably in a software companyGood written and verbal English skillsGood communication and networking skillsProven project and time management skillsDetail-oriented, organized and disciplined mindsetGood working knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence, or proven ability to learn new softwareAbility to think ahead to ensure efficient and time-saving workflows and to foresee possible obstaclesProblem-solving, collaborative and empathetic attitude
You would be more likely to succeed if you also have:
- Experience working with larger organizations or teams
- Experience working with product teams
