About the role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Operations Manager to join our team. As a Design Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in streamlining and optimizing design processes within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective design workflow, and oversee the successful execution of design projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design operations, project management, and a passion for creating exceptional design experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration between design, marketing, product development, and sales to create a streamlined design process that ensures consistent, high-quality outcomes.

• Partner with the sales team to strategically allocate resources and plan for potential team expansion based on future sales growth.

• Elevating design value across the organization: championing design thinking through communication, education (workshops, discussions), and promoting best practices to foster collaboration and integrate design principles into all teams.

• Lead engaging team meetings (stand-ups, discussions) for clear communication, knowledge sharing, and swift problem-solving while managing PTO requests and tracking availability to ensure smooth workflows and meeting project deadlines consistently.

• Proactively manage project schedules and resources to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality design assets.

• Identify and address design challenges and team roadblocks to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

• Facilitate regular design reviews to ensure designs meet high-quality standards and align with established guidelines.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to designers, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in design operations, project management, or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of design processes and methodologies.

• Proficient in project management tools and software.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
