Design Internship: User Research

Location: London
When: End of June - early September 2023 
Salary: £28,000 pro rata

We are looking for rising stars to join our User Experience Design and Brand/Creative team for a ten week paid internship programme in Summer 2023. We have placements open for four core disciplines: 

• Product Design
• Marketing Design
• Design Tooling
• User Research

User Research

• You have some knowledge of different research methods as well as their strengths and limitations
• You have a case study of previous research you have done - this can be qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods research
• Your case studies showcase the ‘why’ behind your research, how you planned the research and picked your methodology, your approach to data analysis and synthesis, key insights, learnings, and, if applicable, the impact of your work
• Your case studies don’t need to look pixel-perfect - we are more interested in your approach than your visual design skills - however, make sure it’s clear and easy to follow
• You’re naturally curious about people and ready to question assumptions about users and their behaviour

You’ll be part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Because people without borders need money without borders.

Your mission: 

You’ll be paired with a Wiser sponsor in the User Experience Design or Brand/Creative team, collaborating with other Wisers and fellow interns on cross-functional projects. We plan quarterly, and your mission will be mapped out with your sponsor in June - while still leaving plenty of room for you to contribute to your scope.
