We are looking for a Data Product Manager for our Data & Analytics team in the heart of buzzing Berlin! 

At Babbel, data powers our language learning product, drives our decision making and is a strategic asset.  We manage data with a product mindset and a DataOps culture. We are looking for a Data Product Manager to be a core part of unleashing the value of our data. You will be responsible for driving the development and management of our data products. You will work in a cross-functional team to discover user needs, create opportunities, plan, prioritize and deliver the product roadmap, together with your engineering co-lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will:

  • Conduct market research to identify needs and trends
  • Develop and manage the roadmap for our data products
  • Work in a cross-functional teams to gather user problems, opportunities and prioritize product features
  • Develop business cases for new data products
  • Work with the engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery of product features
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to develop a go-to-market strategy for new data products
  • Monitor product performance and make recommendations for improvements

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience in product management
  • Strong technical background, with experience in data analytics and/or data engineering
  • Proven track record of managing successful data products from ideation to launch
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
