THE OPPORTUNITY
Requirements
As a UX Researcher, you help our client's team dial in on how consumers will navigate interactions with the products our client builds. Tactically speaking, you design, conduct, and analyze user research and your work lays the solid foundation for everything that follows from content strategy and information architecture to creative design and development.
This particular opportunity is to work with their team to conduct audience research and technical consultation as part of a multi-phase project in developing a community forum for a well-known American sports drink. Their goal in this first phase is to learn from their audience and approach the technology planning from a strategic manner with the intention of developing an online forum with MVP launch in Q3 2023. In this role, you will systematically uncover how a user will think and behave. You will gather information through qualitative and quantitative means to determine the optimal user experience and ultimately serve as the voice of the user within their team. This role is both strategic, leadership-oriented, and tactical. You must have the ability to take the reins of consumer research and lead that effort. You must not be afraid to be in the weeds and to do the hard work while also being capable of taking a step back and seeing the bigger picture. This is a client-facing role within their team.
Reports to: Director of Strategy
- Planning the step by step approach including a timeline, audiences and audience size needed, sequential audience touch points, and preparing all questions / agendas /surveys for client approval.
- Conducting the research plan - interviews, surveys, etc.
- Reporting and analysis of research findings with the intention of validating the direction and MVP requirements against audience needs.
- Assist our team in developing the MVP requirements for audience validation.
