Requirements

The Role

Homeppl are looking for a talented writer with business savvy and a desire to pursue a career in content marketing. We’re looking for a content writer intern who has demonstrated writing experience, professional and/or academic. The company goal is to build the SEO traffic channel for Homeppl and deliver best-in-class information/resources/guides in the fraud detection and rental market industries.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Implement various elements of our content marketing strategy
• Learn the foundation of optimising content
• Write new SEO-friendly copy for pages on our website
• Be involved in blog writing and posting
• Navigate and select design assets from our library to accompany your articles
• Research trending topics within a variety of industries
• Distribute your articles and blog posts on social media
• Follow a content strategy and target select topics for targeted traffic growth

About You:

• Cursory experience of writing for a web audience and using a CMS is preferable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of HTML
• Creativity & resourcefulness
• Extreme attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Flexibility to evolve strategies quickly & effectively

Nice to Have:

• You have, or are on track for, a first or 2:1 in your degree (or equivalent)
• An interest in FinTech/PropTech
