Content Writer

As a Content Writer at Hiive, you will be at the creative center of our team, transforming trends, data, and interviews into leading stories within the private markets. We’re looking for more than just blog posts; we want compelling narratives that engage and inform our audience. As one of the key members of our marketing team, you'll have the opportunity to shape your own journey and potentially build your own team over time.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• Conduct interviews with high-profile startup leaders at Unicorns and Hiive’s knowledgeable executive team.

• Convert the world’s largest set of private market data into engaging stories.

• Collaborate with the growth team to optimize SEO, ad copy, webpage copy, and other public-facing content.

• Create social media content to boost engagement with our audience.

• Work with designers and agencies to produce compelling graphics and thought-provoking videos.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years in journalism or content creation.

• Exceptional writing skills, capable of producing both long-form and short-form content, from copywriting to in-depth articles.

• Familiarity with BI tools for uncovering insights, or a willingness to learn.

• Ability to translate technical jargon into clear, engaging prose.

• Knowledge of startups, venture capital, equity, and related financial terms.

• Understanding of SEO best practices is a plus.
