About the Role

We’re looking for a Communications Designer to concept and design across a broad spectrum of touchpoints: digital ads, emails, exhibition design, packaging, presentations, while also exploring and maturing the visual brand.

Work directly with the Director of Marketing Design, product marketing, and other cross-functional designers to bring the Skydio brand to life across multiple channels and touchpoints.

These include:

Long-form content for enterprise customers (eBooks, Webinars, datasheets.)
Event Design and Collateral
Demand Generation (ads, emails, webinars)
Packaging Design (physical packaging)
Editorial Design (illustrations for CS, manuals)
Presentation design for communications with customers and policymakers.
Contributing to the Skydio Design System with product and hardware design.

Your Portfolio

All candidates must possess a portfolio demonstrating experience in multiple disciples within communication design including:

Brand Identity
Packaging Design
Exhibition Design
Presentation Design
Information Graphics
Editorial Design (eBooks, Whitepapers)

Top candidates would additionally have:

Experience with product photography (capturing or retouching)
3D/2D illustration
Some exposure to interface design tools and best practices.

What You’ll Bring To Skydio

A strong belief that drones and AI-driven robotics are making the world a better place. Proven track record of delivering stunning, effective marketing design to consumer and/or enterprise customers. A portfolio of work that shows a diversity of experience across both online and offline media, and clearly defines your roles in the creation of those projects. Prior roles might have been Comms Designer, Visual Designer, Growth Designer, Associate Art Director.

Communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills are vital to your work ethic.
