Who are we looking for

We are looking for an experienced designer who will be responsible for the UX & UI of our Lenus client's mobile app while improving the lives of our users around the world.

You’ll lead the design of the client user experience, bringing your own deep insights of product design and broad UX and UI principles while ensuring that the design aesthetics are up to date with all the latest design patterns and trends. As a professional and skilled Product Designer, we expect you to analyse and deconstruct complex problems, knowing how to work strategically and diligently as you uncover desired outcomes and user needs, and then transform them into innovative and validated concepts and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Group Product Manager to plan, prioritise and execute both a short and long-term vision for the client experience.
• Support other client team designers in the scoping and completion of their work, whilst contributing with high level initiatives of your own.
• Take lead on the Mobile Design System (LUI), and collaborate closely with Engineers to ensure alignment and that best practices are met.
• Work closely with the other Design Leads to ensure we are delivering an intuitive and consistent product experience to all our users.
• Utilise qualitative and quantitative research methods in both the scoping of projects and testing of solutions, in order to measure the success of our efforts.
• Ensure we are delivering high quality, through assessments of new and existing processes, features and tools. Providing constructive feedback and effective solutions where needed.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal processes. Utilising feedback to make effective adjustments in everything from research to team rituals.

Qualifications

• have 5+ years of experience with mobile and web design, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, decisions and effective solutions.
• have experience in a lead role, supporting other designers and driving initiatives.
• have a vast toolbox of UX research methods at your disposal, and can efficiently analyse data to deliver key user insights.
• have experience leading multiple projects while sharing work with other product designers and collaborating with cross-functional leads.
• have a strong knowledge of UX & UI principles that span across strategy, user research, and interaction design.
• understand the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery.
