About The Role

That’s why we’re looking for a Brand Designer to join the cross-functional team leading our company’s transition from the tech-enabled service we deliver today, to a seamless and intuitive platform that powers every stage of the software purchasing process for organizations around the world.

We’re looking for a Brand Designer that will help elevate the Tropic brand to an industry-leading level. We are looking for a multi-disciplinary designer that can produce brand assets that will be used across our sales, marketing, and internal channels.

You will report to the Head of Design and constantly partner with leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, product teammates, and fellow designers on our remote-first team distributed across North America.

What You’ll Work On

Grow our visual language by using illustrations, typography, colors, icons, and animations to further develop Tropic into an industry-leading brand.
Be a champion for consistency and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with our Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships teams to create internal and customer-facing assets.
Create reusable artifacts such as; landing pages, illustrations, display ads, presentation templates, tradeshow content, and various types of documents.
Collaborate with Product Designers to ensure a cohesive experience between our branded material and the Tropic platform.
Be aware of new industry-leading practices in brand design, and be able to apply them to your work.
Use data and customer feedback from various research methods to support your design decisions.
Take part in design reviews to share and respectfully critique work with fellow designers.

Who You Are

Have 3-5 years of experience working as a brand designer for a SaaS company, especially in the B2B space.
Love making brand guidelines that enable the team members to produce high-quality content.
Have a strong appreciation for design principles, especially ones pertaining to simplicity and consistency.
Can be a highly effective communicator who can use a combination of slack, zoom, and various documentation tools to communicate with teammates.
Are able to clearly articulate design solutions to various teams, peers, and executives for review and feedback.
Are able to take feedback from various types of reviews into actionable tasks that can be used to progress a project.
Are not afraid to go out of your comfort zone to take on new challenges and ask hard questions.
Are able to work independently with the ability to adequately manage various active projects on different timelines.
Have a keen eye for detail, always pushing your designs to the highest fidelity when the time is right.
