TL;DR

Design is at the forefront of our brand and product. As a Brand Designer, you’ll bring the Tango brand to life visually across all external marketing channels (website, social, ads, content). You’ll iterate on our existing brand design and develop a visual narrative that effectively showcases our brand identity and highlights our personality. You are obsessed with consistency and are always on the hunt to discover the newest trends in visual design.

What you’ll do:

• Evolve, expand, and maintain the design direction of the Tango visual brand in partnership with our Brand Strategy Lead

• Ideate and create break-through brand expressions, campaign systems, and industry leading design across channels and projects including website, social media, digital ad campaigns, content, and product

• Collaborate with brand, marketing/growth, and product to serve delightful experiences to our target audience and customers

• Oversee the work of external vendors in creative strategy, execution, and production

• Inspire, create, and sustain a culture of excellence by mentoring the team in best practices, design process, and ideation

What you have:

• 3+ years of relevant design and art direction experience for technical and product-driven companies

• Proven excellence in effective art direction, design execution, and building and extending design systems

• Demonstrated aptitude at extrapolating and extending shared patterns and behaviors

• Ability to express a brand through distinct graphics, patterns, motion, and interaction

• Effective communication of concepts, direction, and decisions with the team and with external vendors

• Willingness to roll up your sleeves to execute brand design projects while also maintaining a strategic mindset and viewpoint on how to interject brand design in all we do

• Strong track record independently delivering work as well as influencing the work of other designers, contractors, and agencies

• Humility in explaining your work, process, and decisions and crave feedback to help you design at your best
