What We Need

We are looking for a highly motivated Digital / Advertising Designer to build our in-house Creative Design team. The candidate must be a strong creative thinker that follows current trends and has good understanding of the digital-native, mobile-led, social world. We are looking for a self-driven designer with smart, beautiful designs, pixel-perfection, and an unmatched eye for detail. Whose taste, aesthetic and point of view aligns with Rootine’s elevated yet human visual universe. Design is central to what we do, and it’s the Brand Designer’s responsibility to grasp our brand identity and communicate it effectively across all channels and platforms, both online and offline.

Experience in creating smart, beautiful designs, outstanding animation/video ads for social platforms and the ability to demonstrate excellent use of typography, color and composition are core to success in this job.This position reports to Rootine’s Head of Design.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to concept innovative, experimental ideas for email and social media campaigns including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest and YouTube.

• Design and build digital advertising materials on a day-to-day basis. Leverage data-driven insights from ad performance and industry best practices to inform the creative approach.

• Create thoughtful and elevated design solutions that adhere to the brand standards and style guidelines - while still pushing creative limits.

• Develop visual concepts and materials for lead generation campaigns (ads, landing pages, social media graphics, etc.) with a cohesive look and feel, working with the team to quickly develop and test different iterations

• Create brilliant, innovative and carefully crafted motion work, animated gifs and videos for web and social media platforms.

• Support the design team in implementing on-brand materials for marketing campaigns and brand partnerships. This includes but not limited to print collateral, booth designs, product packaging.

• Communicate a point of view on design trends and actively bring those references and inspiration to the team.

• Always create an environment that is collaborative, dependable, insightful, innovative, memorable, passionate, agile, driven, diverse, analytical, and deliberate.

About You

• Excellent taste, sense of aesthetics, typography and composition skills, and color sensibility.

• Understanding of platform/social channel nuances.

• Team player. Positive and open-minded. Receptive to feedback from others.

• Result and solution-oriented.

• Highly organized and detailed, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Adapts easily to change and demonstrates flexibility in shifting goals and priorities.

• Have an in-depth technical knowledge of product development as it relates to graphic design.

Necessary Background

• 2-5 years of experience in Digital Design; experience in Digital Advertisement is a must.

• Have mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite + Figma.

• Elevated graphic design style and a compelling portfolio that demonstrates excellence in flawless execution.

• Experience in animation and interaction design.

• Ability to edit videos for social media.
