Monta will use the EUR 80M funding to double down on its successful software-only strategy by strengthening investments in all markets and improving and expanding its product to new sectors ready to embark on an electrified future.

Join us in powering progress, one charge at a time!

We need you for Monta charge!

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our B2C product team, Monta Charge.

Monta Charge is our product suite designed for EV owners, providing support for users in all their daily charging activities, whether at home or on the go. We aim to create a seamless charging experience that transforms EV drivers into advocates of home electrification, regardless of their level of tech savviness.

Our goal is to accelerate EV adoption by demonstrating that transitioning to sustainable and cost-saving behaviors is so simple that EV owners would readily recommend others to switch to electric vehicles as well.

Your mission, should you choose to accept

  • You will help less tech-savvy users to embrace a highly technical and innovative industry, by making the complex simple and delightful.
  • You will accelerate EV adoption and set the industry standard to foster a more sustainable future without compromising the everyday experience. Your work will also have a broader focus on home electrification, including heating and solar.
  • You will own and drive the design phase of your projects and will experience firsthand how your work has a big impact both on our business and the end consumers.
  • You will collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, other designers, and engineers across multiple squads to solve problems through diverse competencies.

Your responsibilities will include

  1. Project Leadership: Lead projects with PMs from “problem” to “solution” while turning great ideas into even greater solutions, ensuring design and user experience align with high standards and project objectives 🔥
  2. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Got a bold idea? We encourage you to speak up! 🙌
  3. Be the user advocate: Setup and conduct user research initiatives and integrate insights into the design process to enhance user experience and build meaningful solutions that solves actual problems 🤓
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with PMs, researchers, designers, and engineers to create cohesive and user-centric designs that add value to both our users and our business ⭐️

The ideal candidate

  • +3 years B2C or B2B2C product experience: Proven track record as a Senior Product Designer in B2C/B2B2C product teams, with a portfolio demonstrating your role working with complex products with users in focus.
  • is a problem-solver: You have honed your skills in identifying and solving problems with a creative and analytical approach to turn them into great solutions. Our products are tailored to tackle complex problems so you need to be excited about unraveling complexity making it simple to others.
  • is self-driven and constantly curious: You’re the initiator, always ready to tackle new challenges, and truly passionate about product design. You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. You ask the right questions and seek clarity and guidance when in doubt.
  • is adaptable and resilient: You’re quick on your feet, adapting to changes with a positive attitude. We are scaling fast so buckle up for a rocket journey.
  • is a team player: You understand the importance of collaboration and what a diverse team can accomplish. You love to involve users and your team to test and come up with good validated solutions.
  • Excels in communication: Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Is a design evangelist: you are excited about driving the design practice forward in the organisation, gaining and sharing new knowledge with fellow designers and being part of an ambitious design team.
