At Blueground, our vision is to make people feel at home wherever they choose to live. For us, that means ensuring our guests have the peace of mind, flexibility & confidence they need to explore life’s latest adventure.

We’ve grown a lot since our founding in 2013, having raised more than $258m+ in funding, to date -- and that’s just the beginning. We’re now hosting guests in more than 8,000 homes in 20+ cities around the world (and growing!), with an aim to hit 50 cities by 2025.

Our vision comes to life through our ways of working. For our 800+ member team located across 15 countries, we’ve created a culture of collaboration, inclusiveness, and opportunity.

We believe our people should have the power to choose their preferred way to work. Depending on the role’s requirements, team members can choose to work full time in one of our offices, work fully remote, or choose a hybrid model between the two.

We are driven by our core values. To our team, Time is our most important resource. Excellence isn’t simply a standard, but an exciting way to look at life. We Care deeply about our guests and colleagues. Our relationships are built around Transparency, which builds trust and improves communication.

We’re shaping the future of living, and we want you to be part of that journey.

We are looking for a talented UX Researcher to join our growing Product team. You'll work closely with product management, design, engineering, marketing, and data analysts to support or identify new product opportunities. You will help build a deep understanding of user's existing and potential problems and turn user research into insights to inform the development of new features.

What you will focus on

  • Work with the Product team to conduct research that varies in approach, scale, scope and timeframe (may include user interviews, usability tests, surveys, participatory workshops etc).
  • Define research questions and select appropriate methods to answer them
  • Communicate and share your research insights with team members, executives, and other audiences to help drive evidence-based product and design decisions.
  • Maintain and add to the research repository where all UX research insights are gathered

You will enjoy your role if you

  • Are naturally curious and want to get to the bottom of things
  • Can empathize with people and their problems
  • Enjoy talking to new people and building rapport
  • Enjoy sifting through data to uncover insights
  • Enjoy uncovering patterns and insights from different sources
  • Are a strong user advocate but you understand that business needs are also important

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years of experience with different methods of UX research (e.g. exploratory, usability testing, surveys)
  • UX research in different stages: Experience conducting UX research in different stages of the development process.
  • Agile: Familiarity and understanding of Agile methodology
  • Time management: Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Excellent communication: Communicate complicated concepts in simple terms. Our business is international so English fluency is a must
  • Tools: You will be ready to get the ball rolling on day one if you are already familiar with the tools we use, including Dovetail, Lookback, Productboard, Slack, and Figma

A good researcher can come from many different backgrounds. If you don’t tick every box, please don’t count yourself out! We are interested in hiring excellent, interesting human beings with good potential so if this role resonates with you please apply.

  • Competitive salary
  • Blueground Stock Option Plan
