We’re UserTesting, a leader in experience research and insights; we believe the path to human understanding and great experiences start with a shared understanding—seeing and hearing how another person engages with the world around them and taking in their perspective. Working at UserTesting, you will be empowered to help organizations  discover the human side of business–transforming how they work, collaborate, innovate, and bring new products and experiences to market. This is what inspires us, and it’s how we enable companies to connect with their audiences naturally and organically through an experience that is uniquely, and intentionally human.

A trusted company by top brands for 15+ years, UserTesting, recently merged with UserZoom, has over 3,400 customers in 50 countries, including 75 of the Fortune 100 companies. Joining our team means being part of a passionate group focused on transforming how companies learn from and understand their customers. Come join us and help us build the engine for human understanding.

The Team

You will be partnering with the Engineering, Design, and Research teams to ensure the right definition and delivery for every initiative. You will work with other Product Managers to establish goals early in the life cycle, define key metrics and continuously communicate the state of planning, delivery, and risk. You will be building products that empower UserTesting’s customers to build amazing experiences for their customers. This team rolls their sleeves up and dreams big while delivering value predictably.

The Opportunity:

As an Associate Product Manager at UserTesting, you'll be responsible for managing and driving your product area's execution to ensure our product continues exceeding our customers' expectations. This role is for a strong communicator who can align the team behind the vision for our product. You should be good at saying no and understanding the balance between building and shipping great products. You'll need to be analytical and not release into a vacuum. This means defining and tracking important business and usage data to measure the results for your product areas. You'll be working closely with design, engineering, marketing and customer support to drive product initiatives from inception through development, release and beyond to ensure we continue delivering amazing customer experiences.

This is what you will be doing:

  • Manage priorities throughout their planning, development and release cycles.
  • Deeply understand the needs and problems of our customers.
  • Lead and collaborate with a cross-functional product team including design, engineering, marketing and more through rapid product cycles to deliver new features our customers will love.
  • Be the voice of the customer (that means both current and future) in all aspects of product development and delivery.
  • Keep one eye on our fast-moving market to remain well positioned.
  • Drive alignment and buy-in at all company levels to rally everyone around your vision.

What we are looking for:

  • Some experience as a product manager or product owner, especially in an agile SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles as they relate to web applications. Bonus for work experience in UI/UX design.
  • Proven track record for developing, managing, and launching web-based software products.
  • Strong technical and data-analysis skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Agile, adaptable and capable of delivering new products and features iteratively.
  • Familiarity with various aspects of Lean methodologies, including customer development, hypothesis-driven planning, and evidence-led product design.
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment, ideally with qualitative and quantitative research experience.
  • Must be resourceful, self-motivated and able to be successful in a non-traditional entrepreneurial team-based environment.

What we offer:

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Employee Referral Program
  • Professional Development Stipend
  • Remote work stipend
  • Wellness reimbursement
  • Volunteer days
  • Life Assurance
