Associate Product Manager - Pricing

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to help build, iterate on, and grow our product pricing.  

You’ll develop a deep understanding of our self-service customer base, how customer segments use our product today, the opportunities in our self-service product, and then you’ll build the touch-points that mature users from trial to full adoption. This role does not require previous product experience, and you will have wide influence across the organization. You will work cross-functionally with owners in marketing, product, support and sales to implement and test solutions to drive activation and expansion.

As the ideal candidate you will be able to lead through influence and execute your own work independently to move initiatives forward on a day to day basis. This is a remote position, reporting to the Director of Growth.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting new sellable options for sales, support and engineering
• Tracking, documenting, and following up on engineering work related to product pricing
• Managing work related to product launches, including working with product marketing, coordinating sales & support training, release announcements
• Pricebook maintenance 
• Market research
• Occasional data analysis in SQL, BI tools or Google Sheets

You’ll be mentored by other Product Managers and VP of Product to gain more experience in the following areas:

• Executing the entire product design & release cycle (Discovery, Design, Development, QA, Release)
• Conducting user research to identify customer needs and writing user stories
• Gaining familiarity with market research and analyzing the market gaps
• Discovery capabilities, identifying what to work on and why, getting a new idea formed in order to get it prioritized in the backlog
• Collaborating with product design on initial project discovery
• Writing design documents and product requirements
• Long term roadmap planning, breaking down into smaller releases 

Requirements:

• 0-1 years of experience in product management
• 1-3 years of professional experience in startups, software development or data analysis
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience leading data-driven decision making in marketing, sales, or product organizations
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Git, Google Analytics, SQL, Salesforce

Bonus points for:

• Experience in enterprise cloud software, hosting, or developer-focused software
• Experience working within a global, multicultural team, and serving customers in diverse markets
