About the team:

You will be joining our marketplace team, which is focused on growth & monetization. This team builds on one of GoodNotes' core strengths: allowing users to create visually appealing notebooks with top-notch handwriting technology. The team works together to create the best digital paper notebook marketplace platform and continually innovate on ways to enhance the aesthetic note-taking experience, aligning with the broader company's strategic initiatives.

Our team is spread between Asia and Europe. You’re welcome to work remotely from anywhere, with at least 2-3 hours overlap with with the people you’d be working closely with. Due to the asynchronous nature of working that GoodNotes has adopted, any time difference will not impact your work-life balance.

About the role:

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

• Play a role in enabling our marketplace to scale its operations and provide more market value to buyers
• Work closely with the business operations team to enhance the creator and operations experience
• Expand the marketplace features to improve shopping experience for buyers on Goodnotes
• Collaborate with the team on prioritization, implementation and keeping track of the different sprints and stories
• Generate insights from different sources and use this data to iterate on feedback so that we can make decisions on priority, scope, requirements, and direction with confidence
• Draft product requirement documents and work closely together with designers and developers on turning them into reality
• Define, execute, and evaluate feature releases, so that the team knows why, how, when, and what we needs to be delivered

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

• 4+ years of experience shaping and shipping meaningful products that have been transformational to its users
• Solid technical understanding and proven experience working closely with engineering teams. You don’t have to be an engineer but you should be able to think like one when it matters
• Strong prioritzation and collaboration skills with a focus on hands-down work
• Ability to multitask and thrive in an environment where the context changes often
• Track record in coming up and shipping unique high leverage ideas from in-depth technical and product insights
• Great story teller and communicator both verbally and in written form
• Comfortability in working with a high degree of uncertainty and ambiguity
• Experience in building products/features for large userbases (>500k DAU)
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience working in a marketplace/e-commerce company that is consumer focused
• Experience taking part in inventory/assortment logistics or operations is a plus

The interview process:

• An introductory call with someone from our content store team leader. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
• A short take-home assignment to assess your skillset
• A role-specific call with one of our content store team lead to discuss your background and skillset for this role more in detail. This person is also your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as support you throughout your career at Goodnotes
• A meet the team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
