We are looking for Associate Product Designer(s) to join N26’s UX Team and the Assistance segment.
In this role, you will be working in a cross-functional team to collaboratively deliver great user experience of our product offering(s). You will report to our Heads of UX within the Assistance segment.
N26’s UX Team is part of the larger Product & UX organization. We are a multidisciplinary team of 40+ talented individuals (known as “UXers”), who practice Product Design, User Research, UX Writing, and Design Operations. Most of our UXers are distributed across various cross-functional teams, looking after different product verticals. Our team is based in Berlin and Barcelona.
Assistance segment mission is to build platforms and capabilities to allow N26 to have a more enriched relationship with customers in the channels they choose.
Designers in the Assistance segment work on three main streams of work:
Self-serve support - focusing on reducing the need for customers to contact N26 internal teams, by delivering best in class support channels experience such as chat, email and help center.
Staff-led support - focusing on improving N26 Service Experience and reducing time to resolve customer issues, by optimizing internal teams processes and tools.
Investigation and reporting - focusing on finding opportunities across the investigation journey to reduce false positives, increase operations efficiency and provide reliable reporting to the banking authorities.
This role will be focused on the Staff-led support, improving the experience of our internal tools based on internal user feedback and actively contributing to the N26 Web design system.
1+ years designing digital products as part of a cross-functional team in an agile ecosystem
You have some experience in some or most of the following: Conceptual design, wireframing, process mapping, UI prototyping, detailed design, usability testing and implementation
An understanding of business that is equal to your understanding of product owner needs
Basic understanding of both business needs and tech constraints that is reflected and considered into the design
Experience with industry standard design and research tools (Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Lookback, User testing etc…)
Good communication skills and ability to articulate your design decisions
Contribute to the N26 Design System. Work closely with senior designers on maturing our design system library and guidelines
Work with agile processes in close collaboration with product management, engineering, data analytics and other stakeholders
Turn user problems detected across all feedback channels into product opportunities. Work together with product managers and engineers to oversee the development of a product from problem definition, concepting to launch
Increase the level of delightfulness. Design mobile and web interfaces that are incredibly simple, elegant, and enjoyable for users
Help the organization understand the needs, challenges and wishes of customers today and in the future
