Experience in accounting, using oracle or completing complex reconciliations is a plus.

In this role, you will:

Perform multiple reconciliation processes throughout the day to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our crypto ecosystem.
Identify discrepancies in the reconciliation and work with relevant teams or stakeholders to investigate and resolve the issues promptly.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate recording of crypto transactions in our accounting system.
Document the reconciliation discrepancies and own the process of ensuring they get solved out on a day to day basis.
Implement efficient processes to streamline the reconciliation process and improve accuracy.

Skills we’re looking for:

Attention to Detail: the ability to meticulously review and analyze information, spot discrepancies, and ensure error-free outcomes.
Relevant Experience: experience working on complex reconciliations, as well as familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience working in crypto is not necessary however is an added plus.
Organization & Planning: plans, organizes, and schedules in a productive manner, allowing for a focus on key priorities and regular updates.
Collaboration: excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with various team members.
Strong Written & Verbal Communication: speaks plainly and truthfully. Communicates complex ideas in a simple & easy-to-understand way for any audience (e.g. engineering, 3rd party vendors, growth/operational teams, executive team).
Problem Solving: if something seems off, you want to figure out what’s going on; you enjoy navigating uncertainty, bringing clarity to ambiguity and don’t wait for a playbook to be written.
Efficiency: ability to produce significant output with minimum wasted effort; finds the path of least resistance to the problem definition, solution and execution.
Honesty & Integrity: doesn't cut corners; does what is right, not what is politically expedient.
