Cinder provides a cutting-edge platform to protect the internet. We safeguard the interaction layer — the front end of products that users engage with, and sometimes abuse. Our AI agents, integrated workflows, and deep operational expertise help companies maintain integrity in real time, even as they scale quickly.
We support some of the most important and innovative companies in the world, including OpenAI, Midjourney, and ElevenLabs. Cinder is backed by Accel and Y Combinator.
We care deeply about being relentless, intentional, and empathetic. We hire people who set ego aside, aggressively solve customer problems, and get better every day. We’re building enterprise-grade infrastructure for trust, safety, and risk — and we expect everyone here to operate with ownership.
Cinder is hiring an Agent Product Manager to help design, deploy, and scale AI-powered systems for some of our most important customers.
This is a hands-on, forward-deployed product role. You’ll work directly with enterprise customers to understand their workflows, risks, and goals, then use Cinder’s platform to build and iterate on AI-driven solutions that operate in high-stakes, real-world environments.
You’ll move fluidly between product thinking and execution — shaping solutions alongside customers, partnering closely with Engineering and Design, and feeding real-world insight back into Cinder’s core product roadmap.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ambiguous problems, likes being close to customers, and wants real ownership early. You won’t just define what gets built — you’ll help make it work in production.
This position is based in New York City.
Design, configure, and iterate on AI agents using Cinder’s platform, including prompt logic, workflows, and policies
Partner with customers to understand their operational workflows, pain points, and risk tolerance
Optimize systems based on real-world performance, not theoretical use cases
Embed deeply with strategic customers and serve as a trusted advisor on how AI should be deployed safely and effectively
Work with operators and executives to define success, manage tradeoffs, and guide AI adoption over time
Represent Cinder clearly and thoughtfully in customer-facing conversations
Run tight feedback loops with Engineering and Design based on customer needs and observed system behavior
Translate customer pain points into clear product signals and roadmap input
Help prioritize platform improvements grounded in real usage
Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership during deployments and expansions
Support pilots, launches, and key customer moments as a technical and product expert
Help shape how Cinder shows up externally as a trusted partner in high-risk AI environment
Have 2+ years of relevant experience in product management, consulting, engineering, operations, or a similar problem-solving role
(We are open to a wide range of work experience for this role and would like to speak to early career all the way up to very senior level candidates)
Bring strong technical intuition, especially around AI- or ML-powered systems — you don’t need to train models, but you should understand how these systems behave in practice
Are comfortable working directly with customers, including in ambiguous or high-stakes situations
Communicate clearly and build trust across technical and non-technical audiences
Thrive in fast-moving environments where you help define the playbook while executing day to day
Have worked with AI agents, LLM-powered products, or ML-driven workflows
Have experience in Trust & Safety, risk, fraud, integrity, or compliance-adjacent domains
Have been embedded with enterprise customers in a technical, advisory, or forward-deployed role
Enjoy operating at the intersection of product strategy and hands-on execution
As an Agent Product Manager at Cinder, your work will directly shape how AI systems are deployed safely in the real world. You’ll gain rare exposure to high-stakes customer environments, influence the evolution of a category-defining platform, and help solve some of the hardest problems in modern AI.
You’ll work closely with thoughtful, low-ego teammates who care deeply about craft, judgment, and impact — and you’ll have meaningful ownership early in the company’s journey.
