About the job 

As the VP Product Management - Communications Demand Platform, you are at the heart of the world’s largest communication platform, leveraging our unique data moat to route billions of communications real time.  

We're seeking a highly quantitative and experienced product leader with a track record of leveraging massive data sets to drive innovative and highly optimized products that work in real time at internet scale. You will lead a high performance team of product managers to engage customers, set strategy, define roadmaps, and work with engineering to deliver and guide execution to ensure value realization and business impact. Leveraging your proven track record of building, scaling and optimizing  data products in areas like marketplaces, consumer internet (search, ads) or telecom routing.  You are expected to work with senior level customer partners to drive adoption. 

The role is highly cross-functional and requires a leader that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced environment, aligning exec partners, collaborating with teams across time-zones and thinking globally.

Responsibilities: 

In this role you will: 

  • Own the product vision for how billions of communications most efficiently are delivered to consumers with the highest level of engagement. - Ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company strategy. Be a specialist on the domain, the market, the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand where we are going. Get results by approaching everything with drive and energy with an eye on both the bottom line and customer success.
  • Drive product lifecycle - Collaborate with engineering, user experience, documentation, infrastructure and go-to-market teams to drive the product lifecycle from concept to customer success. Work optimally with customers, partners, executives, stakeholders, and our technology teams to build a well defined and integrated roadmap to deliver on the vision. 
  • Champion the strategy - Work with go-to-market teams, product marketing, sales, services, and enablement teams to establish thought leadership in the market
  • Represent the customer - Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal relationships with customers, engineering teams, and the field. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process.
  • Think Strategically - Know what it takes to give our product and platform a competitive advantage. Operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment. Develop relevant, sustainable solutions. Align the right resources to the task at hand; foresee and plan around obstacles.
  • Analyze and synthesize broad, cross-business or cross-discipline information that leads to breakthroughs or significant insights.
  • Lead and collaborate across teams - We win or lose as a team. Product Managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and partners. This role requires many cross-functional team initiatives. A collaborative approach and demeanor is important.
  • Mentor and develop the product management team for the next phase of growth for the business. Lead the organization to evolve to a results-oriented, innovative, best-in-class product organization.

What you need to succeed: 

  • 15+ years of product management experience building large scale products across a combination of consumer marketing, growth and security products.  
  • 10+ years people management experience
  • Leadership DNA - validated ability to excite and lead successful cross-functional initiatives
  • Track record of delivering impact with multiple product lines at all stages of maturity (pre-product market fit, growth and at significant scale)   
  • Experience leading or building for high volume, high frequency data product teams.
  • Data-driven and outcomes oriented
  • You have strong attention to detail and are comfortable handling multiple ongoing initiatives with varying priorities, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience with high-level business and deep technical discussions
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills, including ability to create and deliver a great presentation to tell a story and communicate business value as well as product features and benefits
  • Passionate about the customer journey and the customer experience
  • Experience in high volume/frequency data products
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience

Location 

This position will be based out of UK & Ireland; with office locations in London and Dublin
