WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The research team at Braze is looking for an intern who will work alongside a UX researcher embedded within cross-functional product teams. You will be expected to be an active contributor to our growing UX research practice. Throughout the 3-month long internship, you will receive support and training while contributing to projects and features that will directly impact our customers.
WHO YOU ARE
- Just getting started in your UX Research career (maybe transitioning from an adjacent profession) AND/OR a recent graduate of a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Social Science, Cognitive/Behavioral Science, Human-Centered Design or related field
- Experience/basic proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, surveys)
- A meticulous eye for detail and a strong ability to stay organized across projects
- Solid communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Empathy, curiosity, and drive for understanding people and their needs

Bonus Points
- Knowledge of statistics Software or programming languages, e.g. SPSS, Looker, R
- Experience working in SaaS or startup environment
- Prior work or internship experience in UX research
- Research materials for submission demonstrating independently led research case study; can be part of previous work/internship, coursework, or a side-project
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work alongside UX Researchers and cross-functional product team members to learn about the product development process at Braze
- Support end-to-end UX research projects: from defining goals and objectives, developing interview guides or questionnaires, conducting fieldwork, analyzing results, and sharing insights with stakeholders
- Recruit users to studies and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing our processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Product Analytics, Customer Success, Sales, Support, and Marketing as needed
