We have an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer to join our rapidly growing Self-Help and Connected Experiences Team. This role will support the evolution of our documentation and in-product help experiences for Atlassian customers. You will partner with product, engineering, content, and stakeholders from across the business to understand the customer help-seeking journey, advocate for best-in-class UX experiences, and oversee the cross-channel strategy between touchpoints to ensure customers move through our digital ecosystem seamlessly.
The Self-Help and Connected Experiences Team is made up of multi-faceted designers working across the end-to-end customer journey, from self-help to high-touch support. We are on a mission to empower our customers to be successful in our products and deliver on a strategy to scale our support service to meet the growth and demands of our users.
We are responsible for:
- Aligning on a shared self-help vision and strategy across the company and driving toward project execution
- Measuring success of customer self-help, ensuring product retention, and influencing product acquisition
- Understanding the needs of Atlassian content authors and partnering with content strategy, ops, and engineering to publish quality documentation for our users
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 3+ years of professional UX design experience, ideally in complex and/or enterprise environment
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong user experience and interaction design informed by empathy for the user and data-driven insights
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary team to prioritize and ship high-quality work
- An eye for detail, and able to get to the root of the problem with a customer-centric lens
- Ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporate feedback
- Comfortable synthesizing insights from qualitative and quantitative research
- Proficiency designing with modern tools such as Figma and Mural
- Experience collaborating successfully with developers, designers, product managers, and other team members
- A desire to learn, and grow to form a strong team
- Excitement for using and championing user-centered design methods and best practices, Atlassian Design Guidelines, Playbook plays, and design tools
