User Research Intern

Doctolib is searching for an intern in the area of User Research for our office in  Milan.

As part of the Product & Design Team, you will primarily work with our User Researchers and will be responsible for supporting qualitative and quantitative research activities driving digitalization in the healthcare sector. In addition, you will support our team by helping recruit participants for research studies based in Italy. 

What you’ll be doing

As an intern, you will support us in the following areas of responsibility:

• Support ongoing qualitative and quantitative research activities, including user interviews (e.g. through note-taking or co-moderation of individual interviews), co-creation workshops, moderated and unmoderated usability tests and surveys.
• Assist in analyzing results (interviews, surveys), writing reports in a clear and convincing manner, and helping us evolve the ways we communicate insight to stakeholders. 
• Support researchers in adding insights to the research database and passing them on to the product teams.
• Help coach stakeholders in user research methods, including recruitment strategies, using existing training materials from within the user research team.
• Recruiting, screening, scheduling, and compensating research participants for all Italian-based studies, including coordinating with internal stakeholders (legal and financial team members).
• Contributing to the continuous evolution of our recruitment processes by identifying pain points, proposing solutions as well as storing documentation (e.g: guidelines, agreement forms).

During your time with us, you will:

• Expand your knowledge of user research methods, tools, and their practical application
• Get to know the everyday work of a global research team in a tech company
• Gain knowledge about the eHealth sector and gain a deep insight into the daily lives of healthcare professionals - and how we can help them through our tools

About You

You could be our next team mate if you:

• You have a background in the field of service design, human factors, human-computer interaction, psychology, neuroscience, information design or any related field
• You have knowledge of user experience research, user-centered design and/or market research 
• You have a user-centered mindset, a proactive way of working and strong communication skills in both Italian and English (C1 or C2 level)

Now, it would be fantastic if you:

• You have experience in conducting qualitative/quantitative research studies (e.g. usability tests, survey design or interviews)
• You also master French/German
• You already have prior experience in the healthcare industry
