About The Role:

The hands-on UX Researcher will dive into the heart of Grabango, our shoppers. This role will conduct field research of our shopper’s behaviors. More specifically, how they are interacting with our Brand Ambassadors and our app. They will develop hypotheses around shopper engagement, conduct research to validate or invalidate their hypothesis, and work cross functionally to provide recommendations and action plans to improve our overall shopper experience. 

This full-time role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations and is based in Berkeley.


Responsibilities:

  • Willing to travel to new store locations across the US
  • Conduct field operations in the form of informal/formal interviews, observations, and survey data
  • Develop hypothesis on shopper experience and engagement 
  • Provide insight to respective teams on findings and recommendations
  • Follow action plans closely to report progress
  • Work cross-functionally amongst operations, marketing, data, and product teams. 

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analytics, or similar projects
  • Background in customer analytics 
  • Experience creating and conducting surveys

  • Bachelor’s Degree
