We believe that different cultures and diversity are mandatory to make a great company and product. This is why we encourage more diversity and inclusion in the tech space. We want to encourage more people from different backgrounds to apply for jobs with Qovery.

We are about to expand our team and want to focus on building a top-notch company. Join and help us to make a great place to work.

Responsibilities

To support Qovery’s growth, we are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to join our team. You will be responsible for driving the development of our product roadmap, defining product requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products.

You will report to  Alessandro, our  lead product manager, and work closely with the product designer, and the engineering team to deliver the best in class experience for our customers.

What you’ll do daily:

  • Define product requirements and user stories based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives
  • Prioritize product and engineering backlog items based on business/tech value and customer impact.
  • Translate product requirements into technical story for the different engineering team.
  • Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and new features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product design, engineering, developer experience, marketing) to ensure we deliver the best product.
  • Manage the scrum rituals of the engineering team (sprint planning, retrospective etc..), helping the team during their continuous improvement process.
  • Follow the day to day of the engineering teams, ensuring we focus on the most important topics.
  • Manage the rollout of our features: ensure that all is ready for the release, run validation tests before the release, ensure that our public documentation and our public roadmap are up to date.
  • Communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders across the organization.

What you’ll bring onboard

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferrably as a TPM/TPO or similar role in a SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, product management best practices, and software development processes.
  • Good technical background: You are familiar with git, SQL/databases, API, networking etc..
  • Good understanding of the technologies used today to deliver software and infrastructure (or you are willing to fill any gap!)
  • You can break down complex technical problems into small, release-able, user valuable features.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. You can easily adapt your communication style depending on the audience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can deliver the best user experience to our users across multiple platforms (UI, CLIs, APIs etc..)
  • Passion for technology, cloud computing and developer tools. You love to learn new technologies and keep you up to date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have experience in the public cloud industry and/or building developer tools.
  • You have experience as a developer for professional or personal projects.
  • You have experience leading products on both frontend and backend sides.
  • You have a good understanding of infrastructure manage ment, development and CI/CD processes.
  • You have already worked in a startup.

Recruitment Process:

  • Meet Marie, our People Manager for a preliminary call
  • Meet Alessandro, our Lead Product Manager (your future lead!) for a Product Management Interview
  • Then, we propose you to do a case study at home, and present your work when ready to Alessandro
  • You’ll meet Pierre, our CTO, or Morgan, our CRO, for a soft skills interview
  • And finally, you’ll meet Romaric, our CEO for the final.

Our ambition and spirit

We want to revolutionize application deployment. We are in 2023, and it is still too complex to deploy and manage applications and dependencies (databases, brokers, storage...). Even with the help of cloud providers!!!

We are people-oriented:

  • We empower people to grow (not only on tech aspects) and be better by regular 1:1s, feedback, performance reviews for instance. We help you reach the best of yourself!
  • Excellent soft skills are mandatory to become a Qovery team member
  • Relation and communication is key to build a great product

One more thing:

  • We're 100% remote to propose the best wellness possible (3hrs +/- from Paris timezone)
  • We have flexible working hours
  • We share the love thanks to a monthly co-work all together (proposed but not mandatory!) and a great offsite twice a year
  • You can choose your devices
  • Your voice is heard; no matter your level, we're a team, all going in the same direction.
