The Role

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for supporting and improving our Concur environment. As a member of our Financial Tools team, you will partner with our Finance, Internal Audit, and other internal teams to understand their processes. You will work closely with our Program Management organization to support the day-to-day functions of our systems, and identify opportunities to improve processes, introduce automation, and ensure compliance with our internal audit and information security programs.

Technical Product Owners are responsible for understanding the product they support and any nuances of our implementation. You will ensure the implementation of each system meets corporate security requirements and aligns with the long-term strategy for our system architecture. To be successful as a Technical Product Owner, you must understand both your specific managed system(s) as well as interactions with associated boundary system(s).

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the system administrator for Concur.
  • Partner with our Program Management organization and its functional owners to scope and implement improvements and changes as required.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce automation and/or process improvements within managed system(s) and boundary system(s).
  • Design and administer a robust testing and release process for all changes to managed system(s).
  • Partner with the Internal Audit team to continually improve and streamline our IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance activities for managed system(s).
  • Provide support to other finance systems as needed.
  • Continuous support as the company continues to scale and enhance business processes.

What We Value

  • 2+ years experience as a Concur System Administrator (end to end).This includes integrations, configurations and reporting.Experience interfacing with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Experience developing and managing a release process for updates and changes to managed systems.
  • Experience working in a control environment and meeting IT SOX requirements.
  • Experience working with third party vendors and system integrators.
  • Ability to collaborate using effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and artfully distill complexity in an ambiguous, rapidly-changing environment.
  • Flexibility to support emerging requirements adjacent to your core work supporting Concur.

Salary

The starting salary for this position is estimated to be $95,000/year.Total compensation includes approximately $15,000/year of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units, based on the recent value of the company’s stock at the time of grant. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by candidate’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.This estimate excludes the value of any potential sign-on bonus; the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
