Healthcare providers go into medicine to care for people, but end up losing valuable time each day to admin work and other workplace challenges. Time that could otherwise be spent helping patients. And patients end up suffering as a result. At Commure, we build solutions that simplify providers' lives and keep them connected to their patients so they can focus on doing what matters most: providing care.

Our innovative suite of software and hardware – augmented by advanced LLM AI, RTLS, and healthcare workflow automations – boosts efficiency across every domain of healthcare, freeing up healthcare providers to spend more of their time caring for patients. Our growing suite of technologies include staff duress alerting, asset tracking, patient elopement, revenue cycle management, clinical documentation and intake, provider copilots, patient engagement and communication, home health, remote patient monitoring, and more.

Today, we support over 250,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites around the country. And we’re only just getting started: Healthcare’s watershed moment for AI-powered transformation is here – so join us in creating the technology to power healthcare!

About the Role

Commure + Athelas is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) Engineering teams. You will have the opportunity to power our core operating system and deliver a seamless, data-driven healthcare experience for providers and patients. Our product—Insights—provides practice staff and administrators with everything they need to efficiently manage their practice’s operations. We maintain 150+ customer-facing features, ranging from high-level reports and visualizations to workflow automation tools that help the staff boost their practice’s revenue.

  • Hands-On Product Development: You will have the unique opportunity to be on the ground, directly at healthcare facilities, understanding firsthand the challenges and requirements, which will drive the development and implementation of solutions tailored to these complex environments.

  • Leadership and Technical Expertise: You will lead a team of engineers; therefore, deep technical knowledge is crucial. You won't be directly involved in hiring, but you will guide and inspire your team through complex product build outs.

  • Executive-Level Communication: Regular interaction with top executives such as COOs, CSOs, and CIOs of major healthcare systems will require excellent communication skills. You must effectively convey complex ideas and persuade stakeholders to align with your strategic visions.

What You'll Do

  • Own & Evolve the RCM + EHR Platform – Lead the product roadmap and execution for 150+ customer-facing features, spanning billing automation, claims management, eligibility verification, analytics dashboards, and clinical workflow integrations.

  • Drive AI-Powered Automation – Develop and implement AI-driven RCM workflows that reduce manual effort, such as automated coding, intelligent denial management, and real-time claim corrections.

  • Build Actionable Insights & Reporting – Deliver real-time dashboards and analytics that help practice administrators monitor revenue trends, operational bottlenecks, and compliance risks in a single pane of glass.

  • Engage with Providers & Admins On-Site – Work closely with healthcare facilities, front-office staff, and revenue cycle teams to understand operational pain points, refine product solutions, and drive real-world adoption.

  • Lead High-Impact Engineering Teams – Partner closely with engineering, data science, and UX teams to build scalable, user-friendly, and highly reliable RCM and EHR solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Collaborate with C-Level Healthcare Leaders – Regularly engage with COOs, CFOs, RCM leaders, and IT executives to articulate the business impact of our solutions, gain buy-in, and drive adoption at scale.

  • Stay at the Forefront of AI & RCM Innovation – Keep up with emerging trends in AI-driven healthcare automation, value-based care, and payer-provider integrations to future-proof our product strategy.

What You Have

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related field

  • Professional Background: 3+ years of experience in Product Management AND 1+ year of Software Engineering

  • Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, and a proven ability to manage complex technology projects across functional boundaries. Experience with SQL and QA best practices are a must.

  • Industry Knowledge: Direct experience in healthcare settings within the United States is a bonus.

  • Willing to come into our Mountain View Office, 5 days a week.
