The Monetization Product team is hiring experienced Product Managers to build ad experiences delivering value to customers and delight to Neighbors. Nextdoor is uniquely positioned where our customers are both our Neighbors and our advertisers. This team's focus is to harness this unique dynamic and create a performant advertising ecosystem.
At the core of the Monetization Product Team’s culture includes:
In this role you will report to the Director, Product Management - Monetization.
As the Product Manager for Monetization, Billing & Payments, you will lead a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and program managers, working closely with stakeholders across Information Systems, Accounting, Billing, Ad Operations, and Revenue Operations.
In this role, you will design and build best-in-class Order to Cash revenue systems, including the necessary data infrastructure and reporting to ensure accurate and timely billing. You will develop systems for funding, invoicing, and payments for Nextdoor advertisers, ensuring a scalable and reliable data flow from customer onboarding through billing to final revenue recognition. These systems will seamlessly integrate with Stripe, Salesforce, Workday, and Nextdoor’s internal advertising stack.
Additionally, you will create and implement fraud mitigation solutions for both financial and advertising fraud. You will understand the fraud risks to the business and implement mitigations while maintaining a positive customer experience for advertisers. You will assess whether to develop these tools in-house or partner with third parties, ensuring proactive detection and reactive monitoring systems to protect Nextdoor from bad actors.
This role is critical as Nextdoor builds out its proprietary ad stack and continues to scale its advertising business. Your contributions will directly support Nextdoor's growth by developing robust systems to process payments and safeguard against fraud.
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $189,000 - $266,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
