About the Role:
Matterport is looking to hire a Staff Product Manager for Capture Services. Matterport Capture Services is a first-of-its-kind online services platform that seamlessly connects customers to certified Capture Technicians across the globe, professionally trained to deliver high-quality 3D digital twins.
Capture Services enables an entirely new way for properties to get a digital twin without having to visit a property’s physical location or perform capture, they can simply choose an appointment time, describe where it is, how big it is, and how to access it and we’ll deliver a professionally captured digital twin in less than 72 hours.  This product is a new business line for Matterport, and it is critical to the company’s strategy to digitize the built world, allowing us to meet customers in their workflows as well as welcome an entirely new class of customers across verticals and use-cases. 
This role will drive product experiences and infrastructure to accelerate the product-lead growth of Capture Services.  You will work across all facets of the product and the associated business process for Technicians, Customers, and Operations. You will own the strategy, requirements, research, and product go-to-market plans for key initiatives to increase the scale of Capture Services, such as improving the first time user experience based on the performance of the new customer acquisition funnel, determine the roadmap to successfully achieve product adoption to existing subscribers, re-imagining the technician experience and identity experience the on-site experience with technicians and expansion of the core service offering to perform additional services in one visit to name a few. 
This is a high impact, independent, and entrepreneurial role. You will collaborate heavily with the Capture Services Operations team, engineering, product marketing, and design. 
Capture Services is a business within Matterport, so this is a great opportunity for someone who appreciates an environment where change is the only constant and where they can directly contribute to what the change will be. This role reports directly to the Capture Services Product Lead.

What you will do

  • Own and deliver the ideation, technical development and launch of new products and processes for technicians, customers, and operations users. 
  • Embrace a nimble and test first process: form and validate new ideas combining intuition, research, and data to validate strategy, requirements, and priority decisions continuously. 
  • Lead the development of the strategy, roadmap, and execution of key initiatives for Capture Services to scale up driving the cross-functional team. 
  • Influence go-to-market strategy and execution by facilitating cross-functional planning. 
  • Analyze behavior patterns; joining qualitative research to form insights that drive strategy, prioritization, and investment in the product area.  
  • Prioritize continuously to adapt and focus on the most important objectives. Do so with a portfolio mindset that blends initiatives and both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Communicate how lower level plans, features build towards the vision with both internal and external stakeholders.

Who you are

  • 8-12+ years of product management experience, preferably in marketplace products, service products, or related areas. This is a senior level role.
  • Organized: Must be able to juggle across complex projects while keeping a clear big picture mentality.
  • Persistent and adaptable; willingness to be resourceful and roll up sleeves to meet objectives
  • Entrepreneurial: Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion in an Agile environment with minimal guidance
  • Experience working with technical and operational stakeholders to define processes and requirements for new products in a fast paced environment. Experience turning a product area into a dedicated product group. 
  • Super communication skills, especially the ability to distill complex topics into simple, compelling nutshells. 
  • Experience with service products and two-sided marketplaces are preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
