Credit Karma is building a full-scale financial platform to champion financial progress by helping our 100M+ members improve their credit, pay off debt and plan for the future. The Credit Karma Money team is a fundamental piece to achieving that vision. We want to change consumers' relationship with money, to help them spend wisely, save for the future and build wealth. With the launch of high yield savings and checking/ debit a few years back, we are well on our way to achieving this vision of helping our members throughout their financial journey. The Risk product team is on a mission to simplify experiences for members while protecting their money and interests from fraudsters/ abusers. It involves collaborating with operational and engineering teams, building the right tools to support our members, and accelerating product development. Reporting to the Sr Director of Product Management, the Risk (Tools & Workflows?) PM will design and build this platform and features that make all of this possible. You will be a creative and technical thinker, one who appreciates interesting complicated challenges and building new products from the ground up. You will define a vision, strategy and lead a team in executing a roadmap for the CK Money tools platform at Credit Karma.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will build our internal tools and platforms to create an optimal support experience for our members as well as detect, prevent & monitor risky activities
  • You will partner with Banking Operations, Risk Strategy, Fraud Operations and Data Science teams to drive decision effectiveness and teams efficiencies, and present product recommendations to leadership
  • You will establish clear vision and strategy, and support your product team in understanding stakeholder pain points, develop roadmaps and act on them
  • You will guide product development with an outstanding team of Engineers, Strategists and Analysts to create impact for our business users
  • You will make data-driven product decisions supported by both metrics and qualitative research

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical background (degree or work experience)
  • Proven quantitative, statistical and analytical, and technical skills with the ability to use insights to make data-driven decisions
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in fraud, risk, security or a related role
  • Experience developing product/ platform strategy while also having the capability to roll-up sleeves and deep-dive into systems/ services to provide detailed technical guidance to the team
  • Technical level understanding of financial / payment platforms

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience at a regulated Financial Institution
  • Deep understanding of banking rules and regulations
  • Deep understanding of NACHA, payment networks and finance ecosystems
  • Deep understanding of fraud technology, tools, and products
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, grit, and ability to get things done
