We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead design initiatives with the vision of scaling distribution of Divvy Homes’ rent-to-own product.
In addition to solid interaction and UI skills, candidates should have experience thinking in terms of the end-to-end user journey, applying strategic thinking and business goals to designs, and focusing on user feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define problems, set product vision and strategy, create solutions and measure success
- Develop user experience design concepts, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, specifications.
- Research the competitive market, and leverage your knowledge to suggest new features and flows.
- Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy
- Measure and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback, evaluating business impact of your decisions
- Build trust across the organization by understanding and helping peers achieve their goals
- Present products to leadership across the organization from creation to launch
- Lead, mentor and coach other designers as the team grows
- Lead foundational and evaluative research
- Inspire the rest of the design team, share your knowledge, and bring new ideas to the table! 💡
What we are looking for:
- 8+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI, and related fields with experience working on consumer-facing mobile and web experiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate the customer and business impact of your design decisions inside and outside your own product area
- Ability to work closely with leadership throughout business, product and engineering functions
- Proven track record of translating customer needs into product features and solutions
- Familiarity with most common design / prototyping tools (i.e Figma, Principle, etc) and an ability to iterate quickly as ideas evolve
- A portfolio showing your thoughtful UI and UX work
- A strong emoji game is not required but strongly encouraged 🤫
