As a Product Designer at Coursera, you'll be an integral part of our Design, Research, and Brand Creative teams, which play a vital role in Coursera's success. Your role will translate learner and educator insights into user-centric experience strategies and design solutions that enhance the Coursera platform. Learning and transformation are inherently challenging. We aim to make education accessible to all, and we need extraordinary designers to realize this.
This role oversees our Assessment Learner and Educator Experiences to drive learning outcomes and credential rigor throughout career journeys successfully. Key objectives include helping learners practice, acquire feedback, and demonstrate learning while empowering educators with authoring, curation, and quality-tracking tools to deliver fair and efficacious assessments.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with content, teaching, and learning experts to incorporate evidence-based pedagogical strategies into our assessment experience that aid learning growth and rigor. They'll be adept at monitoring trends, AI advancements, and emerging technologies to inform and innovate our assessment offering continuously. The role sits within the Learning Management System, the heart of teaching and learning for all of Coursera's business lines and platform teams. Experience designing for platforms with various user types, and business objectives, and a high degree of competency with systems thinking is essential to maintain scalability, efficiency and innovation.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $155,040 and $180,234. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
