ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for a Staff Product Designer to craft simple, intuitive, and elegant experiences across our Digital Apps (iOS, Android, TV, and Web).

In this role, you'll lead end-to-end design for complex, functionality-rich interfaces, considering diverse ecosystems and screen sizes. You'll capture interactions, edge cases, and various states through user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes—working iteratively with an agile mindset. You'll collaborate closely with content designers, product managers, researchers, engineers, and fellow designers to bring features to life. Ideal candidates are strategic, proactive, highly collaborative, and open to feedback, with the ability to rapidly generate, test, and refine ideas.

Portfolio required—please include a live link or downloadable PDF showcasing your user-centered design work, interaction design skills, and problem-solving approach.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Lead design efforts for strategic app work streams, crafting end-to-end experiences for complex features in collaboration with peers in design, product and engineering.
  • Create and communicate design solutions through detailed user flows, product maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Govern global UX patterns and information architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
  • Collaborate on systemic initiatives, such as the design system, to enhance cross-platform cohesion and efficiency.
  • Clearly articulate ideas and drive buy-in across app work streams, ensuring alignment on product vision and design decisions.
  • Coordinate user testing with UX Research, iterating quickly based on feedback and insights.
  • Define all user scenarios, including edge cases, error states, and logic paths for engineering implementation.
  • Deliver high-fidelity designs from concept to pixel-perfect handoff, providing interaction and motion prototypes.
  • QA for visual and functional accuracy, collaborating with engineering to refine and iterate until launch.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 8+ years of software product design experience, including 5+ years as a senior individual contributor in consumer-focused tech companies.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, effectively articulating design rationale and influencing stakeholders.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, quickly adapting to shifting project directions and requirements.
  • Proven ability to ship features end-to-end from concept to production within tight timelines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong systems thinking, ensuring seamless multi-state, multi-path interactions and edge-case coverage.
  • Fast and iterative design approach, quickly generating multiple concepts while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working cross-functionally with product, analytics, research, and engineering.
  • User-centered and business-aware, balancing intuitive design with broader company goals.
  • Deep understanding of software functionality and user flows, ensuring smooth, goal-oriented experiences.
  • Experience designing across platforms and screen sizes, including responsive web and mobile (touch) apps.
  • Expertise in platform-specific design systems, patterns, and limitations for Android, iOS, and web.
  • Proficient in Figma, Principle, and other design/prototyping tools with experience contributing design libraries and style guides.
