We’re looking for an efficiency-driven Staff Manager, Product Operations who will lead a team that shapes how we build and deliver product at 1Password. We want someone who’s excited about products that solve user privacy and security needs, with a compelling record for impact and leading teams to act. You will think strategically, be a thought partner to product and engineering leaders, mentor team members, and coordinate across organizations to make your operations and roadmap ideas a reality. As a Staff Manager, Product Operations, you will directly chart our next phase of growth while continuing to develop into a strong product and business leader.

Product Operations plays a critical role in the company, and we’re looking for creative and driven people who thrive in ambiguity and are comfortable working alongside senior leaders and executives. As shared owners of our roadmap, the Product Operations team helps our entire team deliver products that customers love.

This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of work experience, ideally in a product operations role, and 1+ year managing and mentoring direct reports
  • Proven record improving product process (i.e., turning user needs into products) as an individual and as a team lead
  • Clear ability to quickly build high-trust partnerships with senior leaders and across organizations, with technical and non-technical teams 
  • Readily empowers a team to tackle ambiguous problems and deliver action-oriented solutions, bringing everyone along with clear, compelling communication
  • Strong strategic thinker able to creatively solve problems, develop strategy for a team (or teams), prioritize solutions, and motivate many stakeholders to act 
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly scaling environment and able to grow and guide a team tackling several major projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Often the one to introduce the right process at the right time to help a team move faster and measure results
  • Champion for thoughtful and quick action, scaling solutions, and iterating based on feedback
  • Excels at using data to influence decision making and highly familiar with a range of data analysis, project management, and product roadmap tools
  • Naturally curious with a strong ownership, “ship it” mentality, and on a clear path to becoming a senior leader in product, privacy, and SaaS security

United States-based roles only: The Annual salary for this role is between $140,000USD and $190,000USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs. All employees are owners of 1Password and receive an equity grant as part of their total package. At 1Password, we approach each individual's compensation with a promise of fair market value and internal equity commensurate with experience and specific skill set.
