This new product marketing manager for training and certification (T&C) will be the marketing leader for all our T&C efforts. You will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and develop the marketing strategy for how Databricks can uniquely empower professionals, students and employers to get the most value from Databricks Academy. You will work closely with all teams within the Marketing organization, as well as a specialized technical sales team, to promote adoption of Databricks T&C and make Databricks Academy a go-to place for all things data & AI skilling.

The impact you will have:

  • Own the value proposition, messaging, collateral and GTM for Databricks training & certification programs and land it across channels - including web, field, partners and events
  • Create an always-on go-to-market plan, and execute new programs with a strong focus on winning mindshare to increase awareness (website views) and adoption (trainings and certifications completed)
  • Build a strong rhythm of engagement of Databricks certified professionals (e.g. meetups) to drive advocacy
  • Create program for training key global SI (system integration) partners and their data and AI teams with Databricks T&C
  • Increase global reach by working with field marketing teams, developer advocacy, industry, events and partner organization to help scale globally
  • Build trust with employers and professionals by publishing 5 new recognizable references in this space within the first year

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing of training, certification or similar programs for an enterprise software or SaaS company.
  • Portfolio of impactful marketing content, sales/ partner enablement materials and always-on GTM with proven results across the marketing funnel
  • Experience with cloud, data analytics, machine learning or AI technologies
  • Experience presenting at conferences/seminars and customer engagements
  • Experience marketing to start-ups or developers
  • BS in Marketing or Computer Science, Engineering, coupled with relevant professional experience
