The Databricks Lakehouse Platform unifies analytics, data engineering, machine learning, and streaming workloads on one simple data platform. Data streaming is one of the fastest growing workloads within the Lakehouse Platform and is the future of all data processing. Data streaming enables business teams to make quicker and better decisions by delivering fresher and data-driven insights; enables development teams to deliver real-time and differentiated experiences such as dynamic UI to their users; and enables operations teams to detect and react to operational issues such as fraud, network congestion, and security breach in real-time. The Lakehouse provides a unified platform for developing and running all streaming workloads — ingestion, ETL, event processing, event driven applications, and ML inference — so companies can easily realize the value of data streaming throughout their businesses.
The Databricks Data & Analytics Product Marketing team has an exciting new product marketing role to lead the Data Streaming on the Lakehouse go-to-market including product launches, core messaging, web strategy, marketing campaigns, event content, and sales play. You will report to the Senior Director of Product Marketing to develop the marketing strategy for how Databricks can uniquely empower data engineers, data analysts, and developers to accelerate data streaming solution development and how companies can drive business outcomes. You'll develop the inaugural marketing strategy for how Databricks will uniquely approach product marketing for data streaming on the lakehouse. You will work closely with all teams within the Marketing organization, engineering and technical sales teams to promote adoption of Databricks and the data streaming technologies that underpin the platform. If you're a builder passionate about data and streaming technologies, this role is made for you.
