Hi there!

We're looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing product marketing team. Zapier already serves the automation needs of a global community of 6.5 million professionals, but we’ve only scratched the surface of our nascent product category.

As a Zapier product marketer, you’ll help our product and marketing teams fulfill our mission to make automation work for everyone. You'll use research and analysis to align stakeholders on market opportunities, then drive the go-to-market strategy for our products—especially among key expansion markets.

Here are some examples of projects you might work on:

  1. Build go-to-market strategies for new markets—tell the story of Zapier's products in a way that resonates with key expansion audiences. Position our offerings, act as a true expert on your customer, and ensure Zapier's value is communicated in a way that drives meaningful business results. Educate internal teams on product functionality and strategy.

  2. Act as the neural network between product and go-to-market teams— to develop, synthesize, and communicate customer insights across the company. Cultivate customer-driven product development, evaluate opportunities, and empower customer-facing teams with data that refines their approach.

  3. Tell Zapier's story, especially around security and reliability —lead messaging and storytelling for your product space, ensuring a clear, consistent, and resonant narrative. Own product-focused copy across customer-facing assets. Create trust among our customers and prospects that Zapier is safe and secure.

  4. Create campaigns and new motions—Establish and coordinate new marketing, sales, support, and customer feedback motions enabling Zapier's growth among key markets. Plan and execute on goal-driven campaigns to increase product usage.

  5. Lead positioning and packaging—ensure our suite of products is optimized to serve different buyers, markets, and use cases, especially as our offerings expand.

About You

You’re experienced. You have 8+ years of experience in product marketing, most recently in SaaS with additional experience in relevant strategic and analytical roles. You've managed a product where security and reliability is a cornerstone of your story. You've demonstrated mastery in core product marketing skills like positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging. You've led and developed go-to-market strategies to launch and scale new and existing products—and you've mentored others to do so, too.

You’re customer-obsessed. You know your current and future customers better than anyone. You’re adept at tailoring your messaging and strategy to meet the needs of your core audience. You regularly conduct and consume research to understand how Zapier can better meet customer needs, and translate those insights into actionable recommendations.

You're a data-driven storyteller. You're deeply curious about market needs, competitors, and usage patterns. You fuse customer insights, brand strategy, and product mission to craft a clear, compelling narrative about Zapier's suite of products. You're skilled at convincing stakeholders and leadership to adopt strategies, and you prioritize opportunities to ensure achievement of company goals.

You’re a go-to-market pro. You autonomously craft and lead product strategies that lead to meaningful value for the company and our customers. You position new products among existing offerings to maximize impact. You’re skilled at drafting product launch plans and working cross-functionally to bring products to market with measurable impact to customer awareness and adoption.

You're the glue between teams. You have a natural talent for keeping teammates in different disciplines in-sync, and helping them move towards the same goal. You actively communicate insights, strategy, frameworks and project approaches between product and go-to-market teams, zeroing in on the aspects that have the biggest impact on their work. You build partherships that acheive exceptional results.
